storehouses and residences. The ruins cover 114,000 m² and are surrounded by fortified stone
walls over two metres thick and seven metres high.
Baalbeck: Lebanon’s greatest Roman treasure, counted among the wonders
of the ancient world — home to some of the largest and best-preserved Roman ruins anywhere.
Ksara: Château Ksara is a winery in the Bekaa Valley. Founded in 1857 by
Jesuit priests, it produced the first dry wine in Lebanon.
